The premium brand for heavy duty welding, heavy spatters, critical applications and thick plates.
Excellent fluxing properties when applied on the joint before welding.

Anti Spatter Cure is a non toxic, non polluting, inorganic, water based anti spatter compound cum flux.
This is based on Patented technology. From heavy fabrication industries like Railway components to
critical applications like boilers and pressure vessel manufacturing, this has a proven efficacy over any
other solution. If you are looking for quality welding, then this is what you need.
This is a formulation that works for a number of weld defects apart from Spatters.
To know how it helps in eliminating various weld defects, connect with us.

Our products are unique in terms of the fluxing properties that they have.

When applied on the joint groove Anti Spatter Cure products strengthens the weld joint giving you one solution
against many weld defects. The electrical conductivity is also not hampered duo to the coating.

What you get is a stronger joint with an excellent surface quality finish.

The non toxic formulation makes our products safe for welders. Backed by evidences from the various lab tests
carried out, our products are safe to handle.

They are non hazardous and non flammable and is water based.

Our products are made with non polluting ingredients that makes sure your ISO 14000 requirements are respected
and taken care of.

Based on patented technology, Anti Spatter Cure products are made with a formulation that does not harm the environment.

The composition of the anti spatter compound cum flux is devoid of any organic components that makes it ideal for application
before welding.

Organic chemicals is detrimental for welding.

Why Organic compounds are a threat to weld quality?
Almost all organic compounds contain Hydrogen.

And it is the presence of Hydrogen that is detrimental to welding. We understand the problems with Hydrogen assisted cracking (HAC).

Heat Affected Zone (HAZ) is a susceptible to various weld defects. The presence of Hydrogen makes it more vulnerable to welding
discontinuities and defects. Hence any method to minimise the hydrogen content is a welcome move.

Application of organic compounds as a surface coating or be it in the form of oil or lubricants is harmful and a threat to achieve a good weld.

Our products ensure sustainability of good welding by working on aspects that goes beyond the usual process control.

Application of the coating does not require special training. And at the same time, a single coating ensures that the welding defects
like spatters are completely taken care of. With the ability to remove 100% spatters without grinding, it helps in saving the cleaning time and cost.

Other issues like porosity, cracking, unequal distribution of heat, rapid cooling etc also does not occur.

The choice of application is yours. You can choose to brush it or can spray it as per your convenience.

Though application by brushing is more environment friendly operation, spraying ensures rapid application process.

In welding, “spatter” refers to small droplets of molten metal that are splashed or scattered during the welding process.
These droplets can land on various surfaces, including the workpiece, floor, and surrounding environment.
Spatter is a common occurrence, particularly in gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and is generally considered a nuisance.

More details:

Formation:
Spatter is formed when molten metal from the weld pool or welding wire is ejected from the arc due to various factors like
arc forces, gas pressure, or even magnetic forces.

Appearance:
Spatter appears as small, spherical metal balls or molten droplets that can solidify and harden after they cool.

Impact:
Spatter can negatively impact the aesthetics of the weld and may require removal for quality control purposes.
It can also pose safety hazards for operators if the molten droplets come into contact with their skin.

Causes:
Various factors can contribute to spatter formation, including welding parameters, electrode type, and the presence of
contaminants on the work surface.

Weld spatter is formed by droplets of molten material that has been splashed or scattered during welding, leading to the
formation of unsightly globules of material.

Weld spatter can potentially causing burn injuries as the molten droplets travel through the air. As they cool, these droplets
stick to the base material and surrounding area, causing imperfections on the surface of a material.

Spatter can be hazardous in industries that deal with oil, while the marks, cracks, damage or pores left on the surface
can lead to corrosion. This can be alleviated with the use of anti-spatter spray.

If you’re in the welding industry, you’ve likely encountered weld spatter, but what’s the best way to deal with this common industry problem

Spatter in Welding Explained
Droplets of molten material generated at or near a welding arc are called weld spatter. Known as a nuisance in the industry,
spatter is a critical component to avoid when developing an application with the welding process.

Common Causes of Weld Spatter
So what causes weld spatter? Spatter is caused by a number of issues:

Low-quality material
Contaminated material
Welding technique
Machine settings
Equipment issues
Incorrect shielding gas
While several welding inefficiencies cause spatter, the most common cause of it is a disturbance in the molten welding pool during wire transfer.
This type of weld spatter occurs when the amperage and voltage levels don’t see eye-to-eye—in other words, if your welding voltage is too low
or your amperage is too high for the allotted gas and wire combination, spatter is more likely to develop.

There are also several gases used for welding that increase spatter generation. Using Carbon Dioxide (CO2) for gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
is a cost-effective way to increase arc energy, but it creates more weld spatter than other gases.

Problems Caused by Spatter
Weld spatter causes several problems in the manufacturing process:

Sticks to work pieces or tooling
Burns operator clothing and skin
Loses material from the arc and weld
Increases clean-up
Higher consumable usage
Lower MIG wire efficiencies
